Grace to Bear our Crosses

At times I get depressed and anxious thinking about our current situation, being in a home that we feel we have outgrown, but are not able to sell due to the mortgage now being upside down due to the housing market crash. Mentally and emotionally I start to close down, losing myself to despair. When I feel all hope is lost, God sometimes sends me gentle hand to lift my soul back up. Today, was one of those days, I kept on feeling myself falling into a dark pit of despair, then I heard a podcast of a homily by Fr. Augustine Tran in which this struck me to the core, and let me feel God's subtle guidance to lead me out of my dark moment when Fr. Tran reminded us to ""pray for the grace to bear our crosses patiently, for the grace to accept His mercy in all its forms with love and repentance, that we may be united with our Lord and Savior forever."
